My shower is a blueprint
to plan arguments, with imagined points
and counterpoints,
building steely architecture in free form design
as I wash my face again.
What I'm saying is
you don't have to be here
for me to treat you like an obstacle.
I'll find every crack in your surface,
like water seeping in.
